It's World Asthma Day, a day dedicated to creating awareness of asthma.
Would you know what to do in the event of someone having an asthma attack? As a mom of a child with asthma, I know how to help my child when she has an attack. It doesn't stop it being a very frightening experience though.
As a teacher, before I had my own children, I had no training about coping with a child with asthma. The severity of attacks can vary but sometimes they can be severe enough to kill.

DeleteThank you helping to bring awareness to asthma. I lost my mom due to an asthma attack a few years ago, so I know how serious this condition is. My son also suffers seasonal asthma. Thank you again!
ReplyDeleteSo very sorry to hear this! It's a truly horrible thing to have to deal with. My heart goes out to anyone who is inflicted with this issue. Trying to get it under control is a work in progress for us but we keep working on it. Thanks for sharing this with me.
